Weather and Climate

The coolest month is January with a mean temperature of 26.9oC. Warmest month is May, at 29.3oC.

There are only two pronounced seasons: wet season from June to January, and dry season from February to May. 

Humidity is uniformly high with colder nights in the last quarter of the year. The temperature is relatively colder at higher altitude, and in areas above 500 meters, combined with higher precipitation, allows farmers to grow a range of vegetable crops.

The weather bureau in Mactan island states that the province of Cebu has an average annual rainfall of 1,548.4 mm, and has 132 days annual average number of rainy days. Rainy days are usually between the months of June to January, with the dry season from February to May.
